The world’s toughest job
In your opinion, what is the world’s toughest job? To my best knowledge of HR and recruitment, I haven’t got the correct answer yet, cuz every job in the workforce has its own compensation and benefits which is demonstrated somehow by money or similar things, and it has standard requirements with clear job description. And all these jobs are not the toughest one yet. I finally found the exact answer in such an interesting video. During Tet holiday, I got a lot of chances watching the person who is taking the toughest job in the world. No matter how much you, your brothers and sisters and your Dad join hands to help her, she’s always the busiest one. Let me give you her job description:
1. Title job: Director of operations The title that I'm mentioning right now is director of operations but it's really kind of so much more than that responsibilities and requirements are really quite extensive.
2. Requirements - Must be able to work standing up most or really all of the time constantly on your feet. Constantly bending over, constantly exerting yourself to a high level of stamina. - Time required: It takes unlimited hours a week: it's basically 24 hours day, seven days a week to insure you change from time to time. There are no breaks available. - You can have lunch, but only when the associate is done eating their lunch. - This position requires excellent negotiation. And interpersonal skill. Besides, we're really looking for someone that might have a degree in medicine, in finance and the culinary arts, etc - You must be able to pay constant attention. Sometimes you have to stay up with an associate throughout the night and must be able to work in a chaotic environment
3. Benefits - No vacations, in fact during the Tet holiday and other holidays the workload is gonna go up and we demand that with a happy disposition. - No time to sleep. - The meaningful thing is connections that you create. The feeling that you get from really helping your associate are immeasurable. - Salary: the salary of the position is gonna pay absolutely nothing.
Excuse me? How can you find such a person who can fit in that job description? That sounds insane, right? Yeah, but what if I told you there are billions of people who are doing that job every single day. Who? That’s Moms. Yes, your Mom is doing the toughest job in the world to recieve very little compensation and benefits. So, please, if you are being a son, a daughter, a husband, don’t let her alone in the kitchen during Tet, accompany her to the market, give her sweet words everyday. .
